Little stepping stones…
small things to return to,
like those revealed by the tide,
appearing when you need them,
one gentle step at a time.
Step outside, even for a moment
Sometimes the littlest thing is enough.
Stepping outside…
feeling the air on your skin,
noticing the light,
or the quiet movement around
you.
It doesn’t have to be a long walk.
It doesn’t have to change how
you feel.
Just a small pause…
where you are, as you are
✨If you feel drawn to it, these are a few things I’ve found gentle to have alongside me…
🌸 a quiet audio or calming sound
🌸 a small reminder to pause
🌸 something warm to hold or sip
sometimes it’s just a warm mug in your hands…
something steady to hold as you
step outside or pause for a moment
you might already have one you love,
or something simple like this can be a slow reminder to slow down 💛
Take one slower breath
Sometimes, the smallest shift
is simply to pause for a moment
and take one breath
a little slower than the last
not to change anything
not to fix anything
just to notice
that you are here
breathing
and that, for this moment,
is enough
Perhaps nothing is needed here …
just a quiet moment,
and the space to breathe as you are.
Notice what’s already here
Sometimes,
after you’ve stepped outside
and taken one slower breath…
there’s nothing else you need to do.
Just noticing…
the light,
the air,
the quiet movement around you.
Not trying to hold onto it,
not needing it to last.
Just being here,
as it is.
And sometimes,
without really thinking about it…
you might find yourself
pulling something a little closer.
A softness around your shoulders,
or something arm against your skin…
not to change anything,
just to feel a little more held
as you stay.
You may already have something that finds you in these moments,
or something simple like this can quietly become part of that pause 💛

Carry it with you, gently
Sometimes,
this moment doesn’t need to stay where it began.
You don’t have to leave it behind
as you move back into your day.
A small part of it can come with you…
the steadiness of your breath,
the softness in your body,
the quiet noticing of what’s around you.
Not held tightly,
not something to keep or protect.
Just something that moves with you,
in the background,
as you go.
And as it fades,
as moments often do…
you can return again,
in your own time,
in your own way.
✨These moments don’t disappear… they wait quietly, ready to be discovered again.
